DPR preparation services

A Detailed Project Report built around your project.

Bitcon connects technical planning, market assumptions, project costs and financial projections in a coherent DPR for investment and lender review. Based in Bengaluru, our team agrees the evidence, deliverables and responsibilities before preparation begins.

What the DPR assignment can cover

For new projects, expansions, acquisitions and modernisation, we define the report around the decision and intended recipient. The proposal confirms the exact coverage and any specialist work needed.

  • Project definition: promoter background, location, capacity, technology and development scope.
  • Technical and market basis: process, equipment, utilities, implementation approach and evidence behind the sales assumptions.
  • Cost and funding: capital-cost estimates, expenditure already incurred, proposed funding and working-capital requirements.
  • Financial model: linked projections, debt service and relevant return, break-even and sensitivity analysis.
  • Report and supporting schedules: a documented basis for assumptions, material risks, open issues and agreed clarifications.

Agree the report format, editable model/files, site work, specialist studies, review rounds and query-support period in writing. Legal opinions, detailed engineering and statutory approvals require their own defined scopes where applicable.

Relevant DPR experience

Our documented work includes solar manufacturing and renewable-power project preparation. These assignments show the project context and Bitcon’s role; they do not imply a financing outcome.

Solar-cell manufacturing is different from solar generation. For generation-project inputs, use our solar power plant preparation resource.

From initial brief to issued report

  1. Scope and appointment: confirm the purpose, recipient, site requirements and outputs.
  2. Inputs and clarification: review available records, identify missing evidence and agree responsible contacts.
  3. Preparation and analysis: develop the project narrative, schedules and financial model using a consistent set of assumptions.
  4. Draft review and final issue: resolve factual queries, record limitations and issue the agreed deliverables.

What to share first

Send the sector, location, approximate project cost, current stage, proposed capacity, target date and the bank or investor’s request. Identify which quotations, layouts, financial records and land documents are available.

For the detailed collection stage, use the industry input checklists. Sensitive records can follow through the document-sharing arrangement agreed for the assignment.

DPR fees and preparation timeline

Fees depend on technical complexity, locations, existing information, model depth, specialist inputs and the agreed support period. We quote against the scope rather than a fixed number of report pages.

A typical DPR programme is 3–4 weeks after complete inputs, with the appointment, scope and necessary access in place. We confirm milestones for your project. Missing evidence, design changes and additional studies can extend the programme; lender review and sanction are separate.

Confirm the right appointment

A promoter’s DPR and a lender-appointed independent TEV assessment serve different purposes, even where their content overlaps. If the lender requires an external appraisal, confirm the appointment route and applicable empanelment scope before starting. Our TEV service explains that assessment process.

A report supports an informed decision. It does not guarantee bank acceptance, sanction or disbursement.
